We are seeking a highly motivated, high performing, dynamic Process/Chemical Engineer Graduate to participate in our Graduate Development Program in Labrador City. The Graduate Development program is designed to provide IOC with strong entry-level professional employees and to provide new graduates with the opportunity to expand on their current industry knowledge and capabilities. The graduates we hire will spend time in the Graduate Development Program, where they will be exposed to a number of different work experiences covering the many facets of IOC's business.
 
Chemical/Process engineers manage the process of turning raw materials into marketable end-products.
  
Depending on the position, you would have opportunity to work on:
  • analyzing processes in our operating workshops
  • modelling
  • industrial trials
  • working on operating processes in plants and in close contact with the field, with the possibility of rapidly advancing to manage a small team
  • working in project management to improve the operation of plants
You will be in contact with all the technical departments essential to the business (process managers, construction, maintenance and production engineers etc.), but also with support departments if you are working in a plant.

within the company.

Qualifications;
  • 4-year Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Process engineering or related field, obtained within the past two years
  • Dedication to promoting a positive safety culture
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Intermediate/Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Language of business: English
