Opportunities exist at various locations in Canada to work for IOC as a New Graduate, Mechanical Engineering.
We are seeking a highly motivated, high performing, dynamic Mechanical Engineering Graduate to participate in our Graduate Development Program in Labrador City. The Graduate Development program is designed to provide IOC with strong entry-level professional employees and to provide new graduates with the opportunity to expand on their current industry knowledge and capabilities. The graduates we hire will spend time in the Graduate Development Program, where they will be exposed to a number of different work experiences covering the many facets of IOC's business.
Depending on the position, you might carry out the following tasks:
- Design and improvement of equipment
- Machine assessment and maintenance
- Ensure that machines meet the latest standards in force
- Work to optimize machine costs
- Help to supervise technicians
- Participate in major improvement and innovation projects
Qualifications;
- 4-year Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, obtained within the past two years
- Dedication to promoting a positive safety culture
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Intermediate/Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite
