The Iron Ore Company of Canada (IOC) is a joint venture of Rio Tinto (58.7 per cent), Mitsubishi (26.2 per cent) and the Labrador Iron Ore Royalty Income Fund (15.1 per cent). We are currently accepting applications for general expressions of interest for Experienced Heavy Duty Mechanics. These positions are located at Iron Ore Company of Canada (based in Labrador City, NL).
The successful candidates will have a Heavy Duty Mechanic journeyperson's certificate (Red Seal Interprovincial preferred) and experience in underground mine maintenance. Experience with troubleshooting, repair and overhaul on Cummins QSK & K model Engines is considered an asset.
