Rio Tinto Alcan is seeking to fill the following role at our Kitimat, BC operations with a successful candidate who will reside in the Kitimat/Terrace area.
Process Engineer
Under the direction of the Process Coordinator, the Process Engineer provides technical support to operations for maximizing safety, quality, and productivity. He/she will work to optimize equipment processes to keep technology current and to minimize waste along with supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- A Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering
- Up to 2 years experience can include Coop work terms with a process plant
- Experience must be in an industrial work environment
- Proven ability and desire to do field work
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
